A Creek, Three Boys, and a New Place to Call Home

This session took place on a family’s brand new property—acres of sunshine, tall trees, and a little creek running through it. They had just moved in and told me their boys already loved spending time down by the water, so that’s exactly where we went.

The boys waded in without hesitation, climbing over rocks, tossing pebbles, and pointing out every fish they thought they saw. They were soaked and muddy within minutes, which made the whole thing even better. The light was beautiful, the laughter was constant, and the photos ended up feeling like exactly what this chapter is for them—fresh and a little wild and full of joy.

There was something really special about documenting this family right where their new story begins, with dirty feet, loud giggles, and the kind of day that doesn’t need much more than a creek and each other.
