THE EXPERIENCE

A black and white photo of a woman holding a laughing child outdoors. Both are sticking their tongues out, and the child is wearing a dinosaur-patterned raincoat. Trees and grass are in the background.

This isn’t about perfect poses or forced smiles. It’s about capturing your family as you are—your love, your laughter, the small, fleeting moments that make up your life right now. My approach is simple: I want this to feel easy, natural, and true to you. No stress, no pressure—just time spent together, making memories while I document it all.

Here’s how it works:

1. Reach Out

It starts with a simple conversation. Fill out the contact form, tell me a little about your family, and we’ll go from there. If you already have a vision, I’d love to hear it. If you’re not sure what you want, that’s okay too—we’ll figure it out together.

2. Planning Your Session

Once you're booked, we’ll start shaping the session in a way that feels authentic to your family. Do you want to explore your favorite nature trail? Let the kids play in the creek? Spend time at home baking cookies or reading together? This isn’t about forcing moments—it’s about creating space for real ones to unfold.

I’ll also send over a Style Guide with tips on what to wear, color palettes that photograph beautifully, and ideas for making sure you feel like yourselves in front of the camera. But more than anything, I want you to feel comfortable. The best images happen when you’re at ease—when you can just be present with your family.

3. Crafting Your Package

Every family is different, and your session should reflect that. We’ll put together a package that fits your needs, whether that’s just a simple session or something more—prints to hang on your walls, an heirloom album to hold in your hands. These photos are meant to last, to be revisited, to become a part of your family’s story.

4. The Session

On the day of your session, there’s no need to worry about how things will go. Kids will run, explore, maybe even get a little muddy—and that’s exactly how it should be. I’ll gently guide the moments, but mostly, I’ll step back and let them happen. The best photos aren’t staged; they’re felt.

5. Receiving Your Photos

About two weeks after your session, you’ll receive your full digital gallery—images that hold the quiet, fleeting magic of this season in your life. If you’d like to order prints or an album, we’ll walk through that together, making sure you have something tangible to hold onto.

Because one day, these photos won’t just be pictures. They’ll be the way your children remember what it felt like to be held in your arms, the way you remember how small their hands were in yours. A way to press pause, just for a moment, before time moves on.
